Gigabit networks for the fast transmission of high volume data are spreading out more and more. Printers and MFPs which are connected to such a network via Gigabit print servers receive and process print data faster.
The Ethernet print server PS1103 is one of our first print servers for Gigabit networks. It offers 3 USB 2.0 HS High Speed ports to connect output devices with USB interfaces, and supports 10BaseT, 100BaseTX and 100BaseT networks (RJ45 connector). The network speed used is automatically adopted.

The function USB to Network (UTN) enables PS1103 to make GDI printers and non-network-enabled MFPs available via the network. Users can access such devices just as if they were locally connected. The whole functional range of MFPs (print, copy, scan, fax) is available, too. UTN works independent of printer make and model.
